March 2014 – PIVOT East is East Africa’s premier mobile startups pitching competition and conference held annually since 2011. PIVOT East is comprised of a series of activities that culminate in the finalists conference. Ride-hailing app, SafeBoda, has announced a 50% slash on cashless rides for customers for an entire week starting from 21st to 25th February 2022 .
