Kenyans have Monday morning woken up to chilling news that Safaricom’s CEO Bob Collymore has succumbed to cancer. In a statement to the public from Safaricom PLC Board Chairman, Nicholas Ng’ang’a says, “It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing away of Robert (Bob) William Collymore CEO Safaricom which occurred at his home,” Nganga said in a statement issued on Monday morning.
