The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) is stepping up efforts against illegal internet streaming devices , following a complaint from Multichoice Uganda , the country’s leading pay-TV satellite provider. According to a new UCC directive, several unauthorized decoders and IPTV boxes are being imported, sold, and used in Uganda to stream SuperSport and Bein channels illegally —a direct violation of Multichoice’s exclusive broadcasting rights.
