In October 2020, Transsion took to the stage to unveil a successor to the Note 7 lineup in form of Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i .

The two variants see an improvement in specs, cameras, processor chips and battery life. As a cherry on top, this is the first Infinix smartphone to feature a USB Type-C port and charging support of up to 18W.

The 5200mAh battery should result in respectable battery life as well, an aspect where Infinix Note devices have been known to dominate.

In the camera department, the Note 8 and Note 8i packs 6 cameras for the worthy upgrade: four (4) at the back and two (2) at the front. A dual selfie shooter with a 16MP primary lens and a 2MP portrait sensor.

The rear camera setup consists of a 64MP main, a 2MP Portrait, another 2MP for Macro and an ‘AI Camera’.
