The Helio P70 system-on-chip is MediaTek’s latest chipset iteration that was launched only a couple of days ago. The chipset comes as a successor to the Helio P60 SoC which was also released by MediaTek earlier this year. At the ongoing Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2018 event in India, Realme ( now a standalone smartphone company ) announced through its Chief Executive Officer Madhav Sheth that the company already has a MediaTek Helio P70 device in the works....

The ride-hailing scene in Nairobi is really heating up with a bunch of players scrumbling for the cake. Already we have Uber, Bolt, Little and new entrant, inDriver. To differentiate themselves, Little is introducing rides to out of town. Their first route is between Nairobi and Nakuru and as an introductory offer, Little is offering free rides on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Over the past couple of months, there have been countless news, rumours, speculations, and leaks that points towards the idea of a foldable smartphone — a first of its kind. The device is called the Royole FlexPai –an unusual name– and was announced by Royole Corporation, a California-based startup, at a conference it held in Beijing China....

Samsung’s latest flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is finally in Uganda. The phone is being sold on pre-order by MTN Uganda on the online retailer , Jumia Uganda for a price of Ugx 2,000,000. Samsung has officially taken the wraps off of this year’s installment of their big phones lineup, the Note 9. The manufacturer has not skimped on anything with this iteration.
