Since the debut of the TECNO Spark series of devices in 2017, these devices have become one of Tecno’s most popular smartphone series in Africa. This is as they manage to strike a nice balance between style and price, even though they are usually slightly underpowered.

Last year, we saw the launch of the TECNO Spark 9 , a device that includes a 6.5-inch HD+ display, a MediaTek Helio G70 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD), a 5000mAh battery, and a 16MP AI quad-camera setup.

Today, TECNO is further enhancing its portfolio by launching the successor to this device, the TECNO Spark 10 Series. This series includes:

TECNO Spark 10 Specs

The front-facing camera on the SPARK 10 series boasts 32 megapixels and utilizes TECNO’s 4-in-1 HW Remosaic technology to increase pixel sensitivity by 400%. This technology combines small 0.8um pixels into larger 1.6um pixels, resulting in clear and detailed photos.

Both the front and rear cameras feature dual soft lights, with an adjustable intensity of three levels to accommodate different lighting conditions. TECNO’s Super Flashlight Algorithm ensures that overexposed photos are immediately corrected, creating a balanced brightness between the subject and background, and avoiding any glare from the built-in 10 Lux soft light.

TECNO’s latest SPARK 10 Pro smartphone comes with the MediaTek Helio G88, an octa-core processor that includes two Arm Cortex-A75 CPUs running at a maximum speed of 2GHz. The device also features the MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 and the GameTurbo Algorithm, which estimate and enhance operational smoothness, resulting in an exceptional gaming and entertainment experience without any lags.

The SPARK 10 series boasts an impressive battery life, thanks to the 5000mAh battery and 18W fast-charging capability, making it a reliable device even during extensive use. Additionally, TECNO enhances the software experience with Android 13 HiOS 12.6 on most of its models, providing users with an exceptional experience.

Pricing and Availability

The series of devices will be available in a few color options, Starry Black and Pearl White for the SPARK 10 Pro, and Meta Black, Meta Blue, Meta White, and Meta Green . Pricing is yet to be officially unveiled in Kenya but pricing should be around KES 12000 to KES 20000.
