Tecno Spark 10 Series Launches In Uganda: Check Out The Price And Availability

TECNO Mobile, one of the leading smartphone manufacturers, has announced the launch of its latest Spark 10 series in Uganda. The launch event, which took place at MUBS Nakawa last evening, showcased the impressive features and specifications of the new series. TECNO has partnered with Airtel Uganda to provide customers with free 3GB of internet data every month for three months upon purchase of any of the Spark 10 series models.

The Spark 10 series is available in two different versions i.e. TECNO Spark 10C, and TECNO Spark 10 Pro , each with unique features and specifications designed to meet the diverse needs of smartphone users. Being a mid-range device, the series promises to deliver an exceptional experience to users, with a starry glass back panel and high-end specifications.

Design and Display

The TECNO Spark 10 series is a smartphone line that boasts a sleek and stylish design, featuring a dot-notch display that provides an immersive viewing experience with a visible chin display. The most significant design differences from its predecessor, the TECNO Spark 9, are its boxy design and glass panel, which give it a more premium and minimalist appearance compared to the right-angled edge design of the Spark 9 .

The display of the TECNO Spark 10 is a 6.8-inch Full HD panel, which TECNO claims expand the user experience and creates an immersive theatrical visual experience on the phone. This is the first TECNO Spark phone to feature a 90Hz refresh rate across the entire lineup, which provides smoother scrolling and animations compared to traditional 60Hz displays.

Camera

The Spark 10 series comes equipped with a powerful camera system, with the ability to capture stunning photos and videos. The rear camera features a 50MP main camera with dual flashlight, while the front camera features a 13MP lens with dual flash as well. For someone upgrading from the Spark 9, this is the same camera setup from last year’s edition and all you get is an additional flashlight sensor at the back of the phone.

Specifications

Most of the models in the Spark 10 series are supported by a 5000mAh battery and 18W fast-charging capability, promising a long-lasting battery life that keeps the device powered up even under heavy use.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Timmy Shen, TECNO brand manager, expressed his excitement for the launch of the Spark 10 series in Uganda. He said,

“We are thrilled to bring The Spark 10 device to our Ugandan customers, a market that is always on the lookout for affordable yet high-quality smartphones. The Spark 10 series offers a premium smartphone experience at an affordable price point, and we are confident that it will be well received by our customers in Uganda.”

It’s worth noting that TECNO Mobile Uganda has also introduced the SWAP MY TECNO program for customers with old TECNO Smartphones. Through this program, customers can exchange their outdated devices for a brand new SPARK 10 Series at any Carlcare service center in the country.

TECNO Spark 10 Price and Availability in Uganda, Kenya, and Nigeria

TECNO’s Spark 10 series comprises four models, namely the Spark10 Pro, Spark10, Spark 10C, and Spark 10 5G, which support the 5G network. While the Spark10 Pro and Spark 10C have been introduced in Uganda, Nigeria, and Kenya, the Spark10 5G is expected to be available later in the year, subject to market demand and 5G network penetration.

The Spark 10 series is available for purchase at TECNO-branded shops and authorized dealers across Uganda, Nigeria, and Kenya.

In terms of price, the Spark 10 Pro costs UGX703,000 in Uganda for the 256/8GB RAM model and UGX595,009 for the 128/8GB RAM version. Spark 10 C cost UGX538,000 for a 128/8GB RAM model and UGX458,000 for the 128/4GB RAM.

In Nigeria, The Spark 10 Pro retails at N118,900 for the 256/8GB RAM model and N104,500 for the 128/8GB RAM version. Tecno Spark 10 C cost N87,500.

In Kenya, The Spark 10 Pro retails at Ksh 20,500. Tecno Spark 10 C cost Ksh 15,500 and Tecno Spark 10 at Ksh 19,300.
